Asia Pacific Maritime Conference APM 2018

Our Managing Partner, Ms Fuzet Farid, attended the Asia Pacific Maritime APM 2018 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The conference was held from 14 March 2018 to 16 March 2018. The APM is a premier maritime and offshore exhibition and conference that takes place every even year where the Maritime and Offshore industry of Asia converge.

Our Managing Partner, Ms Fuzet Farid, attended the 3rd IBA Asia-based International Financial Law Conference at the Conrad Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. The conference was held from 8 March 2018 to 9 March 2018.The Keynote Address was delivered by the Secretary of Justice, Department of Justice, Hong Kong Sar, Teresa Cheng. Amongst the topics covered were Corporate governance for public companies and banks: how to improve standards and practices in Asia?; Private investment funds: marketing passports available to Asian asset managers; Acquisition and leveraged financing: continuing the conversation and Gender equality: let's include the men on International Women's Day.

2018 is the Republic of Singapore Air Force's (RSAF) 50th anniversary ceebration. 

The ST Engineering booth is the centrepiece of the Singapore Airshow 2018. The Singapore homegrown global defence and engineering group showcases their technology know-how, new and proven solutions, as well as battle-tested products at the Singapore Airshow 2018. Through an extensive display that sprawls over a 2,000 sqm space, trade visitors will learn more about the Group's aerospace services and capabilities, as well as their world-class products and solutions for both defence and commercial customers in their other business sectors comprising electronics, land systems and marine. The members of the public are also able to appreciate some of ST Engineering's solutions that contribute to Singapore's defence eco-system.

Airbus SE is the largest international exhibitor at the Singapore Airshow 2018. The Airbus booth is displaying a full-scale mock-up section of the new A330neo jetliner's Airspace cabin and a prototype of the Skyways autonomous parcel delivery drone amongst other things. The company is currently studying a further increase in production of single-aisle aircraft as the manufacturer seeks ways to accommodate continued strong demand for the A320neo family - Airbus wants to achieve the target of single-aisle output to 60 aircraft by the middle of 2019.
