We regret to announce that Muhammad Danial bin Mohamad Nizam has left Messrs Fuzet Farid effective 1 May 2016. Danial joined Messrs Fuzet Farid in April 2014 and has been an integral and a great team member of the Firm. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Danial for his dedication, professionalism and friendship throughout his tenure with us.

We at Messrs Fuzet Farid wish Danial well in his future endeavours.

We are currently on the lookout for new team members with the following criteria to join us:

Legal Associates:- Corporate finance, shipping, oil & gas and aviation (must have experience in drafting finance documents and handling corporate matters) with at least 3 to 5 years experience in the respective fields and be able to work independently with high motivation to excel.

We Have Now Moved!

We are proud to announce that we, Messrs Fuzet Farid, have moved to our new premises at Unit 30-16, Q Sentral, 2A, Jalan Stesen Sentral 2, 50470 Kuala Lumpur effective 1 March 2016. Just a few minutes walk from KL Sentral Station, the new premises are aptly located around the vicinity of the transportation hub of Kuala Lumpur - thus ensuring greater accessibility to cater to our clients' needs.

Our new premises face a picturesque view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, spanning from the city greenery to the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower.

We are hopeful that our relocating to our new premises signifies a remarkable milestone for the team at Messrs Fuzet Farid. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our clients and business partners for their professional and personal support throughout the years towards making our relocation to newer and larger premises, a wonderful reality.

Signing Ceremony of the Long Term Contract of Affreightment by TNB Fuel Services Sdn Bhd

The team at Messrs Fuzet Farid was graciously invited to attend the Signing Ceremony of the Long Term Contract of Affreightment (COA) as transactional lawyers of TNB Fuel Services Sdn Bhd (TNBF) on 26 April 2016. The signing of the COA was between TNBF with four (4) Malaysian shipping companies, namely PNSL Bhd, Prima Shipping Sdn Bhd, Duta Marine Sdn Bhd and Malaysian Bulk Carriers Bhd. The Managing Director of TNBF, Encik Zainal Abidin Shah Mahamood and the President/ Chief Executive Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Datuk Seri Ir. Azman Mohd were the signatories of TNB.The Chairman of TNB, Tan Sri Leo Moggie witnessed the signing. Our heartiest congratulations to TNBF on this historic transaction and we are proud to be part of it!

5th year anniversary of Messrs Fuzet Farid

To celebrate the 5th year anniversary of our Malaysian office, the team at Messrs Fuzet Farid commemorated this historic milestone by supporting Malaysia's very own Queen of Jazz, Sheila Majid charity concert organised by the Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) on 22 April 2016. Sheila Majid mesmerised her fans with her nostalgic hits and ended the night with her anthemic song- Sinaran. It was a celebration befitting the Firm's success and here's to many more continued success!

Firm Dinner at Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

On 8 April 2016, the team at Messrs Fuzet Farid was treated to a scrumptious dinner at the Colonial Café, Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the pre-celebration of the Firm’s fifth year anniversary.

The vintage setting of the Colonial Café, intertwined with a smooth, live jazz performance provided a classic yet intimate touch to our fine dining experience, as we shared both our professional and personal experience and growth throughout our time with the Firm.

International celebration of the campaign for the University and Colleges of Cambridge in Singapore

Our Managing Partner, Fuzet Farid was invited as an alumnus of the University of Cambridge to attend the international celebration of the campaign for the University and Colleges of Cambridge hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz. The event took place at The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore on 11 April 2016.
